Wow! It has been an exciting couple of weeks for the World Language students.
The 8th grade students had 7 visitors from Costa Rica. The Costa Ricans (Ticos) presented a powerpoint, taught a song, and answered questions. In addition, many students volunteered to participate in a lunch/outdoor sports event with the Ticos. It was a fun time for all!
In addition, the students took their midterm exam this past Thursday. This was a new experience for most students, and is good preparation for high school courses.
Finally, the WCS students and staff raised over $1,000 in our Ribbons for Haiti fundraiser! The money is being donated to Save the Children.
